How human payout approvals work with AI assistants

An AI assistant can read permitted company data and draft a payout request. A different human administrator must approve the request before the supported partner transfer is submitted. Creating a draft does not move funds.

Separate the request from the approval

The maker creates a request with a source wallet, amount, destination, and optional memo. The request enters the pending approval queue. A different administrator reviews it; the person who created the request cannot approve their own request. The reviewer can reject it instead, and a pending request can be canceled.

Check the destination and fees together

Before approval, verify the recipient, destination details, source wallet, amount, and displayed fee. The destination and fee are captured with the request so later recipient edits do not silently change what was submitted. A familiar recipient label is not a substitute for checking the actual destination.

Give an AI only the access its task needs

Lynq's MCP integration uses company-scoped API keys. Read-only access is the default; draft access has a separate write scope. An assistant can help inspect balances, wallet activity, limits, and pending requests. With the appropriate scope, it can create a wallet or draft a payout request. There is no MCP tool that approves a payout or moves money without human approval.

Distinguish approval from settlement

Approval authorizes submission through the supported Bridge transfer path. A request can still fail, and partner processing determines settlement. Check the resulting transfer status rather than treating an approved request as proof that a recipient has been paid. Supported destinations and rails depend on business verification and partner activation.

Keep a review trail your team can explain

Wallet attribution, the requester, the reviewer, and resulting transfer help explain why an instruction was authorized. Review exceptions and failed transfers alongside successful ones. AI-generated text should support the administrator's decision; it should not replace recipient verification or accountability.
